Roles and Responsibilities:
✓ Independently create and optimize preliminary conceptual design layouts and
schematics for grid-tied photovoltaic power plants and battery storage systems.
✓ Assist sales team in interacting with clients and conveying technical details.
✓ Coordinate with the construction & commissioning team.
✓ Perform a broad range of engineering calculations and use software tools.
✓ Assist the project team in making design decisions and build consensus within the
team.
✓ Work cross-functionally with sales, project support team, and installation teams.
✓ Perform site surveys and assist in site surveys.
Mandatory Requirements:
✓ Strong AUTOCAD skills are a must.
✓ BE/BTech. degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (MS/M. Tech. degree is a
plus).
✓ 3-5 years’ experience in the design of solar power systems (1-2 years’ experience in
solar rooftop).
✓ Knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
✓ Knowledge of Electrical/Mechanical and construction safety, including training and
requirements.
✓ Proficiency in PvSYSt/Helioscope/Aurora (or equivalent) and Google Sketchup.
✓ Proficiency in preparing Bill of Material.
✓ Proficiency in preparing detailed Drawings.
✓ Proficient with MS Office.
Additional Requirements:
✓ Ability to think critically, collaborate with cross-functional team members, and a
passion for delivering high-quality results.
✓ Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and good command of
technical writing skills.
✓ Ability to organize and prioritize work.
✓ Ability to think analytically.
✓ Willingness to travel to project sites per company requirement.
