About the Job:
Discover an exciting opportunity as an Electrical Engineer at our Mocksville plant, where
you’ll lead as the technical expert in our innovative test lab. You will oversee a diverse
range of 20 unique machines, ensuring they meet production needs through your
expertise in electrical diagnostics, failure mode testing, and troubleshooting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Document and design test lab equipment and layouts to optimize production efficiency.
- Develop, maintain, and train on test lab software, hardware, and analytical equipment.
- Review and enhance testing-related IT tools, ensuring they meet operational needs.
- Maintain test lab procedures to maximize throughput and efficiency.
- Ensure new product engineering data is integrated into lab software upon release.
- Provide guidance on governmental and regulatory codes related to product testing.
- Recommend and develop new test methods to enhance test cell throughput.
- Maintain accreditations and coordinate annual reviews/audits.
- Drive improvements in first-pass yield and throughput while ensuring safety measures are
integrated into all processes.
Basic Qualifications: - BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical
Engineering (preferred). - 1-5 years of experience in industrial equipment testing (required).
- Strong background in electrical diagnosis, failure mode testing, statistics, and
troubleshooting. - Familiarity with standards from ASME, ASTM, DOE, ISO, CE, UL.
- Ability to work second shift (2pm – 10pm).
Work Arrangements/Requirements: - Fully onsite position at Mocksville plant.
- Second shift role (2pm – 10pm).
- US Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident.
Key Competencies: - Expertise in electrical troubleshooting with a solid background in industrial mechanical
equipment testing. - Proficiency in manufacturing systems and processes.
- Self-starter with high initiative, capable of independent and collaborative work.
- Ability to support sales and engineering by leveraging customer feedback to acquire new
applications and customers.
