About the Role:
As a Frontend Engineer specializing in ReactJS, you will play a key part in crafting
high‑performance web and mobile experiences for millions of MakeMyTrip users. You’ll
architect scalable UI components, optimize for speed and responsiveness, and
collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver cutting‑edge
features in a fast‑paced travel‑tech environment.

Key Responsibilities:
→ End‑to‑End Development: Own full lifecycle delivery of web and mobile frontend
applications, from architectural design through deployment and monitoring.
→ Scalable Architecture: Design and implement modular React components and
micro‑frontend architectures to handle dynamic marketplace requirements.
→ Performance Optimization: Identify and eliminate technical debt; implement
best practices to ensure low‑latency, high‑throughput UIs.
→ Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with product managers and UX designers
to translate requirements into robust, user‑friendly interfaces.
→ Leadership & Mentorship: Guide junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and
foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
→ Innovation: Evaluate and integrate emerging frontend technologies (e.g., React
Hooks, Next.js) to enhance development agility and user experience.

What You’ll Bring:
→ Technical Expertise: Deep hands‑on experience with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+),
HTML5, and CSS3; familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, MobX).
→ Architecture & Scale: Proven track record in building microservices‑driven
frontends and integrating with RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
→ DevOps Integration: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and AWS
deployments for frontend applications.
→ Testing & Quality: Skilled in Test‑Driven Development (TDD), unit/integration
testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library), and performance profiling tools.
→ Soft Skills: Excellent prioritization, project management, and communication
abilities; thrive under ambiguity in startup‑like environments.

Desired Qualifications:
→ 3–5 years of frontend development experience, preferably in consumer‑facing or
e‑commerce platforms.
→ Strong understanding of web performance (CDN, caching, lazy loading) and

→ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
