Responsibilities:

As the Function Head in Control Assurance, you will oversee various critical aspects of
compliance. Your responsibilities include:

1-Annual Control Plan Development:

  • Identify key risk areas in collaboration with the Compliance Control team.
  • Incorporate business changes and regulatory developments into the annual control
    plan.
  • Assess key risks and synthesize the control plan to align with internal/global
    prioritization guidelines.

2-Supervision of Control Assessment:

  • Evaluate existing controls according to the defined plan.
  • Identify gaps, design corrective action plans, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Deliver comprehensive reports on assessment results for compliance risk analysis.

3-Autonomous Delivery:

  • Independently manage assigned duties with planning, proactiveness, and timely
    escalation.

4-Adherence to Guidelines:

Ensure compliance with global operating guidelines on second-level control.

5-Stakeholder Management:

  • Cultivate strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain regular communication with business line stakeholders and CTL heads.

6-Team Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of Managers, Leads, Sr. Analysts, and Analysts.
  • Allocate work, provide coaching, and support professional development.

7-Methodology Development:

  • Contribute to the development of SG GSC CPLE/CTL methodologies, policies, and
    procedures

8-Other Responsibilities:

  • Stay updated on laws, regulations, and compliance incidents.
  • Provide updates to key stakeholders, comment on key risks, and contribute to risk &
    compliance committees.
  • Offer KPIs, KRIs, and key information for management reporting.

Profile Required:

Technical:

  • Advanced knowledge of Non-Financial Crime Compliance risks in global banking,
    especially in Investment Banking.
  • Experience with laws and regulations related to Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Market
    Integrity, GDPR, and more.

Functional:

  • Strong experience in Internal Audit, Risk, and Control Assurance activities.
  • Prior experience in leading control testing reviews and process improvement initiatives.

Behavioral:

  • Result orientation, client focus, coaching skills, people development, stakeholder
    management, team leadership, and conflict management.
    Language Skills:
    Fluent in English; knowledge of French is advantageous.
    Computer Skills:
    Proficient in report writing and presentation software.
