About the Role:
As a Legal Executive, you’ll support Teal’s property due diligence and legal operations in Maharashtra.
Take ownership of verifying legal documents, preparing title reports, offering legal opinions, and supporting clients in making property transactions safer and simpler—all while working remotely in a growth-driven legal-tech team.
Key Responsibilities:
📌 Prepare and vet property title due diligence reports and legal opinions (focus: Maharashtra region)
📌 Review, draft, and manage confidential property contracts and legal documents
📌 Collaborate with external counsels and clients for clarifications and case progression
📌 Conduct legal research on land and property laws; coordinate with vendors for timely documentation
📌 Ensure compliance with local property laws, real estate (RERA), and relevant standards
📌 Escalate issues or bottlenecks proactively for faster resolution
📌 Perform other property law and compliance tasks as required
Requirements:
🎯 LLB (Bachelor’s in Law) with 0–5 years of relevant legal experience
🎯 Working knowledge of real estate and property laws in Maharashtra
🎯 Ability to read Marathi for reviewing documents is a must
🎯 Prior property documentation/due diligence experience preferred
🎯 Familiarity with RERA (Real Estate Regulation) a bonus
🎯 High attention to detail, professionalism, and independence
🎯 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
