About the Role:
🖥️ 1-year Graduate Trainee program providing 24×7 L1 technical support and monitoring for Calix systems/infrastructure as first point of contact for technical issues.
Work with cross-functional IT, engineering tools, development, and test teams supporting telecom software modules while ensuring high system availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 👀 Provide 24×7 L1 support for applications, servers, virtual infrastructure, and network issues using Zabbix, SolarWinds for proactive monitoring.
  • 🚨 Perform L1 troubleshooting, meet SLA/MTTA/MTTN targets, manage Jira queues, escalate within timelines, and participate in incident management.
  • 📢 Monitor Slack/Teams for reactive issues, communicate with clients/vendors, document resolutions, and report system performance issues.

Requirements:

Required Technical Skills:

  • 🖥️ Server administration, OS skills (Windows, Linux), networking fundamentals (Routing, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • 🏗️ Basic understanding of application architectures (web, app, database).

Desired Skills:

  • 🐍 Scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform), DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization).

Soft Skills:

  • 💬 Excellent communication/customer service; fast-paced multi-priority environment; strong problem-solving/analytical skills.
