About the Job:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Industrial Design Engineer, including both
seasoned professionals and freshers, to join our growing team. As an Industrial Design
Engineer specializing in plastics, you will be responsible for the design and
development of innovative plastic products. You will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to bring products from concept to market.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine product concepts from initial sketches to 3D models.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and customer needs.
  • Create detailed product specifications and drawings.
  • Collaborate with engineers and manufacturers to ensure that products are
    manufacturable and meet quality standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest plastic materials and manufacturing techniques.
  • Present design concepts to stakeholders and obtain feedback.
  • Prepare design documentation for manufacturing.

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of industrial design, with a focus on plastics.
  • Experience with 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks or Creo Parametric.
  • Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
  • Strong understanding of plastic materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with rapid prototyping techniques.
  • Knowledge of Mold design and tooling.
  • Experience with the product development process from concept to market.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Design or a related field.
