About the Role:
As an IR Partner for the Kharkhoda Plant, you will be responsible for maintaining
harmonious industrial relations to ensure the smooth continuation of operations. In
this role, you will handle all IR-PHR responsibilities at the plant, manage union
relationships, and address manpower, training, recruitment, and disciplinary matters.
You will also oversee wage settlements and conduct benchmarking studies, ensuring
compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Your role is critical in
bridging communication between the plant, unions, and government stakeholders to
foster a supportive and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
→ Union Management & Communication:
o Manage union relations and maintain effective communication with
union representatives.
o Oversee grievance redressal and disciplinary issues.
→ Manpower & Recruitment:
o Handle blue-collar recruitment, induction processes, and ensure
effective employee onboarding.
→ Training & Development:
o Organize training and education programs, including IR Sensitivity
Training, for associates and supervisors.
→ Wage Settlement & Benchmarking:
o Conduct wage settlements and benchmark studies to ensure fair
compensation.
→ Process Oversight:
o Ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements
through robust documentation and adherence to policies.
o Coordinate with various stakeholders to address and escalate issues as
needed.
Requirements:
→ Experience:
o 12 – 15 years of experience in HR/IR roles, preferably within the
automotive industry.
→ Education:
o MBA or MSW is required; additional certifications in HR/IR are an
advantage.
→ Technical Skills:
o Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
→ Behavioural Skills:
o Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional control, and the ability to
influence and negotiate effectively.
o Strong networking, resilience, and decision-making capabilities.
