About the Job:

As the Lead Engineer Platform Software, you will be responsible for developing and
supporting embedded platform firmware, including BMC (Board Management Controller),
BIOS/UEFI bootstrap firmware, and secure ONIE multi-stage bootstrap.
This role encompasses Linux BSP (Board Support Package) and Linux device drivers for
platform hardware development programs. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams
to deliver Linux platforms for hosting OS and application OS software and QA teams.
The position involves R&D for Packet Switching and Router products, including optics and
accessories for deployment in telco carriers, MSOs, and enterprise managed service
providers.

Must-Have Skills:

→ Experience in Linux driver/middleware development for embedded platforms.
→ Strong diagnostic, software design, coding, debugging, and testing skills.
→ Significant experience in developing low-level drivers and diagnostics for
Telecomm/Datacomm switching/Networking Platforms.
→ Familiarity with ONT, PON, G-PON technology, OMCI stack, Y.1731, RFC2544,
Network Processors, MACs, Control Processors, physical layer, TDM, I2C, SERDES
devices, etc.
→ Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong written and oral
communication skills.

Education/Experience:
