Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:

1. Lead a team of Engineers for Design and development of BIW (Body in White).
2. Create Concepts and data inputs for Business case preparation and project costing.
3. Propose Product specs and target setting for specific products.
4. Knowledge of Advanced Materials and manufacturing processes used in BIW.
5. Conduct Feasibility study of Styling surfaces CAS0 to Class A for trims parts.
6. Develop Master Sections, 3D CAD modeling of Engineering surfaces, considering
   vehicle parts packaging.
7. Lead Interaction with Development Team, CME, Suppliers, and Tool makers for
   Manufacturing.
8. Incorporate Changes suggested in DFM, CAE, DMU feedback, Service & Draw
   simulation into engineering data.
9. Conduct Benchmarking study for competition vehicles and systems.
10. Resolve concerns at assembly plant and field during development and post-launch.
11. Interact with Vehicle integration, CME, and other Body/Vehicle aggregates for part
    integration into the vehicle.
12. Prepare Technical Requirement Document, Responsibility Matrix, and DVP for BIW.
13. Interact with Styling team for Feasibility study of A class surface for tooling direction
    determination, draft analysis

Experience:

12-16 years’ experience in the Automotive industry.

Qualifications:

B.E/B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

General Requirements:

• Strong experience in leading engineering teams.
• Proficient in CAD and drafting.
• In-depth knowledge of BIW materials and processes.
• Expertise in feasibility studies and benchmarking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
