position of Executive – Locomotive Testing and Commissioning Engineer for Rolling
Stock. This challenging role, based in Kolkata at the Chittranjan Locomotive works
location, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the high-quality execution of
orders within the Rolling Stock and broader business domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical support to Authorized Service Provider Service Engineers
    and clients.
  • Cultivate and manage strong customer relationships for seamless order execution.
  • Efficiently coordinate on-site and off-site activities to ensure optimal work progress.
  • Swiftly address and resolve customer issues to enhance satisfaction.
  • Lead engaging discussions and interfaces within the organization and with customer
    stakeholders.
  • Consolidate commissioning data, quality issues data, and other essential
    information, formulating effective action plans for field implementation.
  • Actively manage key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Quality, Cost, and Time.
  • Oversee the movement of Authorized Service Provider Service Engineers for railway
    Production units (CLW, PLW & BLW).

Candidate Requirements:

Hold a degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electrical
Engineering.

  • Possess a minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on experience in 3-phase electric
    locomotives products and services.
  • Demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting rolling stock equipment and fault-finding analysis.
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of electrical installations in locomotives.
  • Apply a well-structured problem-solving approach with a rapid learning ability.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Showcase proficient communication skills in English and Hindi; additional language
    proficiency is advantageous.
