About the job:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead our
AP team in Denver. Reporting to the Director of Global Accounts Payable, you’ll play a
pivotal role in optimizing processes, building relationships, and ensuring accuracy and
efficiency within the department.
Job Responsibilities:
→ Hire, train, and motivate accounts payable team members
→ Develop and enforce policies to increase accuracy and efficiency
→ Oversee full cycle AP activities, ensuring timely and accurate payments
→ Lead month-end closing process and support audit requirements
→ Manage vendor database and reconcile supplier statements
→ Provide regular updates to leadership using meaningful metrics
→ Handle annual 1099 and 1042 reporting.
What We’re Looking For:
→ 10+ years AP experience with 6+ years in a managerial role
→ Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and AP procedures
→ International AP experience and familiarity with VAT, GST, and local tax
withholdings
→ Experience with SOX and internal controls
→ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
→ System savvy with experience in Coupa, NetSuite, and G-Suite
→ Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
→ Motivated team player with excellent communication skills
→ Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
→ Experience in the SaaS or technology industry
→ Familiarity with system enhancements related to AP process
Work Hours:
This position will require availability during core business hours.
Work Location & Travel Requirements:
This position is based in Denver, Colorado. Fastly offers a hybrid work model allowing
flexibility between office and home.
Salary:
The estimated salary range for this position is $111,000 to $138,750, subject to experience
and location.
