About the Role:
As Manager – Billing at Apollo Hospitals in Pune, you will lead end-to-end revenue cycle
operations, ensuring timely charge capture, claims submission, denial resolution, and
accounts receivable follow-up. Your efforts will optimize reimbursement, enforce
compliance, and drive continuous improvement across billing functions.

Key Responsibilities:
→ Billing Operations: Oversee charge entry, claims submission, ERA posting, and
denial management to maintain healthy cash flow.
→ Compliance Enforcement: Ensure adherence to HIPAA, CMS guidelines, and
payer-specific coding (CPT, ICD-10) requirements.
→ Revenue Optimization: Analyze payer contracts and service-line performance;
implement strategies to maximize reimbursement and minimize denials.
→ Team Leadership: Manage and mentor billing and coding teams; conduct
performance reviews and provide ongoing training on billing software and best
practices.
→ Clinical Coordination: Partner with clinical departments to resolve
documentation discrepancies and support accurate coding.
→ Regulatory Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid
billing, hospital fee schedules, and regulatory updates.
→ System Proficiency: Leverage hospital information systems (HIS) and
clearinghouses (e.g., Change Healthcare) for efficient workflow management.

Qualifications & Skills:
→ Master’s degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.
→ 5+ years of progressive experience in hospital billing, revenue cycle management,
or medical coding.
→ Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (HIPAA, CMS, Medicare/Medicaid)
and payer contract management.
→ Proficiency with HIS platforms and billing software; experience with Change
Healthcare preferred.
→ Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
