About the Role:
As the Manager, Compliance, you will ensure the completeness and accuracy of all financial
information, enforce internal control systems, and safeguard the assets of the company.
You will oversee the maintenance of insurance policies, require licenses, and claims in line
with corporate and financing agreements. Additionally, you will prepare monthly revenue
share and royalty fee reconciliations, coordinate VAT reporting, and provide critical
oversight of compliance processes across our properties. This role requires a keen eye for
detail, strong analytical abilities, and effective communication skills to support operational
efficiency and boost the bottom line
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all financial information and timely reporting.
- Implement and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
- Support hotel operations by ensuring compliance with revenue recognition policies and internal processes.
- Maintain, update, and review insurance policies, licenses, and claims as per financing and corporate requirements.
- Prepare monthly revenue share and royalty fee reconciliations, and communicate these reports to partners.
- Reconcile all royalty fee contracts with supporting documents for senior management review.
- Prepare monthly VAT reports in consultation with the VAT consultant, ensuring accurate
VAT calculations for revenue and expenses in accordance with Federal Tax Authorities’ requirements. - Provide guidance and support to the division in enhancing operational efficiency and compliance.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management with a focus on Finance, or in
Finance/Accounting is required; an MBA is an asset. - 4-5 years of experience in a similar role in a 5-star hotel or large resort.
- Extensive experience working with systems like Opera and Simphony is a must.
- Strong research, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to think creatively and
interact at all levels of the organization. - Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience in developing analytical reports.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- A proactive drive to improve processes and productivity, coupled with a solid business sense.
- Ability to work independently on projects and effectively communicate with
stakeholders.
