About the Job:
Become a pivotal part of our team as a Manufacturing Technician, where your expertise
will drive efficiency and excellence in our operations. This role is crucial in optimizing
manufacturing processes, solving challenges in real-time, and ensuring our standards of
quality and efficiency are met.
Job Responsibilities:
- Investigate and implement innovative process improvements to enhance manufacturing
and assembly productivity. - Use visual controls effectively to communicate process improvements and project status
to the team. - Manage time efficiently to achieve product development goals and address challenges in
a fast-paced environment. - Lead productivity enhancements and problem resolution to meet delivery targets.
- Assist in designing equipment, fixtures, and tools modifications, including regulatory
compliance for process efficiency. - Support Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity (SQDIP) projects.
Basic Qualifications: - Associate Degree in Industrial Technology or equivalent experience, with 3+ years in
manufacturing, focusing on CNC machining. - Proficiency in CNC programming, hands-on troubleshooting, and Lean manufacturing
principles. - Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks and AutoCAD) for process prints and design.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in basic measuring tools.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements: - Onsite position in Alsip, IL, with occasional travel up to 25%.
- US Citizenship required due to project nature.
- Work environment includes manufacturing floor conditions.
- Physical requirements include standing, reaching, walking, and occasional exposure to
varying temperatures and chemicals.
Key Competencies: - CNC programming and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in milling, grinding, assembly, and automation.
- Forward-thinking with a knack for developing and implementing effective manufacturing
systems. - Ability to independently manage and complete projects.
