About the Role:

As an Android Developer at MakeMyTrip, you will play a pivotal role across the full mobile
lifecycle—from architecture and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build performant, scalable features,
and help define best practices for mobile development.

Key Responsibilities:
→ Full‑Lifecycle Development: Participate in design discussions, plan sprints, and
drive feature development end‑to‑end.
→ System Coordination: Work with product, backend, QA, and UX teams to deliver
cohesive Android experiences.
→ Architecture & Prototyping: Help define and implement the mobile domain
architecture; rapidly prototype proofs‑of‑concept.
→ Feature Implementation: Develop and maintain new and existing features on the
MakeMyTrip Android application.
→ Innovation: Leverage technical expertise and creative problem‑solving to deliver
innovative solutions.
→ Code Quality: Conduct and participate in regular code reviews to ensure high
standards and knowledge sharing.

What You’ll Bring:

→ Technical Expertise: Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, design patterns,
and ORM.
→ Android Proficiency: Expertise in Kotlin/Java and familiarity with Android
guidelines and best practices.
→ Mobile Development Experience: 3–5 years in Android development, ideally in
consumer‑facing or e‑commerce apps.
→ Collaboration: Thrive in complex environments and work effectively under tight
deadlines with cross‑functional teams.
→ Quick Learning: Ability to rapidly prototype features based on briefs and iterate
quickly.
