Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Operations and Payroll – Team Lead responsible for
overseeing payroll services and operations support for 6 State Street entities in the US.
The role entails ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with legislation, company
policies, and control procedures, while continuously seeking opportunities to enhance
operational efficiency.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ownership and Management of reducing Payroll Administration tasks.
  • Manage and improve the monthly payroll process.
  • Timely completion of all monthly reporting.
  • Ensure compliance and risk control within the payroll function through regular review
    and self-audit.
  • Manage the “Payroll Mailbox,” addressing employee queries promptly.
  • Serve as an escalation point for payroll and operations-related queries.
  • Manage MYHRW payroll-related inquiries and FAQ review.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure payroll information integrity.

Essential Experience:

  • Several years of payroll operation and administration experience.
  • Working knowledge of US statutory legislation and procedures related to payroll.
  • FPC qualification desirable.
  • Familiarity with Payroll/HR systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Resilience and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with a focus
    on accuracy and attention to detail.
