About the Role:
As an Oracle PL/SQL Developer at Infosys, you will be a key member of the delivery team
responsible for ensuring high customer satisfaction through quality assurance and robust
solution development. Your role will involve interfacing with clients, gathering
requirements, designing and reviewing system architectures, and leading your team to
develop optimized, high-quality code. You will actively participate in project estimation,
technical risk planning, code reviews, and unit test plan reviews, ensuring that the
solutions meet business requirements and drive digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Interface with clients for quality assurance, issue resolution,
    and ensuring high levels of service.
  • Solution Development: Understand business requirements, create and review
    designs, validate architectures, and ensure quality service offerings.
  • Project Involvement: Participate in project estimation, provide inputs for solution
    delivery, and conduct technical risk planning.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and guide teams in developing optimized, high-quality
    code deliverables, while ensuring adherence to organizational guidelines and
    processes.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform code reviews and unit test plan reviews to maintain
    high standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to building efficient programs/systems that
    help clients navigate their digital transformation journey.

Technical and Professional Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in implementation, development, and support
    projects related to Oracle PL/SQL-based enterprise applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL programming, including functions,
    procedures, triggers, packages, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Oracle versions 10g, 11g, 12c, and higher.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and additional technology exposure is an advantage.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of more than one technology, with a basic understanding
    of architecture and design fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with testing tools and Agile methodologies.
  • Understand project lifecycle activities for both development and maintenance
    projects.
  • Ability to work with estimation methodologies and quality processes, and to grasp
    basic business domain requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Awareness of the latest technologies and trends, and adherence to SOLID design
    principles and software quality assurance practices.

Educational Requirements:

  • Must hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent degree
    (M.E./MBA/MSc/MTech/B.E./B.Tech/BSc).
