Job Summary:

As a Power Electronics Engineer at GE Healthcare, you will be responsible for designing
and developing electronic hardware for High Frequency High Voltage Generators used in

Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

➢ Design and develop High Frequency High Voltage Generators for X-Ray
applications.
➢ Collaborate with hardware and software experts to develop necessary designs and
outputs.
➢ Conduct analysis, calculations, and simulations to evaluate Power electronics
design concepts.
➢ Lead product designs, design changes, or Value Engineering productivity programs.
➢ Own assigned projects and work closely with cross-functional teams to meet
deliverables.
➢ Work on various projects including Advanced Technology development, New
Product introduction, and Design changes/improvements.
➢ Execute assignments aligned with business priorities and comply with GE quality
management system requirements.

Required Qualifications:

➢ ME/MTech in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power
Electronics/Industrial Electronics and minimum 1+ year of experience.
➢ Clear understanding of Power Converter operations, Resonant Circuit applications,
and Analog/power Amplifiers.
➢ Proficiency in conducting different types of analysis for AC/DC or DC/AC converters.
➢ Working knowledge of Electronics Design/Simulation tools such as Saber, Matlab,
Pspice, Orcad, Cadence, etc.
➢ Good knowledge of PWA design principles and component selection guidelines.

Desired Characteristics:

➢ Strong fundamentals of EMI/EMC and its Filter design.
➢ Sound knowledge of Power converter control with analytical capabilities.
➢ Familiarity with Analog/Digital controllers, DSP, Embedded systems, Mixed signal
PCB Design, and Fault Debugging.
