About the Role:

As Assistant Manager – PR & Corporate Communication, you’ll shape and amplify
MakeMyTrip’s corporate narrative and brand reputation. You will drive high‑impact
storytelling, media relations, and integrated communication campaigns that enhance
visibility and credibility across consumer and industry audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Storytelling & Content: Curate and craft compelling narratives by partnering
with cross‑functional teams to showcase flagship initiatives and brand
milestones.
Executive Communications: Lead leadership positioning—draft speeches,
op‑eds, and executive presentations to strengthen visibility and thought
leadership.
Media & PR Campaigns: Develop and execute PR‑led campaigns, managing
agency partners and media outreach to secure coverage in top national and
trade publications.
Integrated Communications: Plan and manage end‑to‑end communications
strategies—including press releases, social media assets, and internal
stakeholder updates—to ensure consistent brand messaging.
Media Relations & Measurement: Cultivate relationships with journalists,
influencers, and industry analysts; track and report PR performance metrics to
refine strategies.
Crisis & Issues Management: Provide rapid response support during
reputational risks, drafting Q\&A, holding statements, and coordinating
cross‑functional briefings.

Requirements:

→ 4+ years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or journalism,
preferably within travel, hospitality, or consumer tech.
→ Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, English (Hons.), Journalism, or a
related discipline.
→ Strong storytelling skills and proven track record of securing media placements.
→ Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to distill complex
information into clear, engaging content.
→ Experience managing PR agencies, briefing media partners, and tracking
campaign ROI.
→ Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced startup environment, juggling multiple priorities
and tight deadlines.
