Join Amazon’s Worldwide Returns & ReCommerce (WW R&R) team, a leader in driving
sustainability and operational excellence through innovation. Our team is dedicated to
achieving “zero cost of returns, zero waste, and zero defects,” impacting not only Amazon
customers but also the environment. We are building the most sustainable reuse channel
possible, driving various aspects of the Circular Economy through returns, ReCommerce,
and rentals.
As a Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will be responsible for delivering
large-scale projects from start to finish. Your role will include gathering business and
system requirements, writing specifications, driving project schedules from design to
release, and managing production launches. You will coordinate with internal and
external stakeholders to deliver optimal solutions.
You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, while also
making strategic decisions about time-to-market and technical constraints. You must
have a strong technical background and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment,
capable of solving problems and ensuring timely project delivery.
Responsibilities:

• Scope and deliver large, complex projects end-to-end, from business requirement
  gathering to production launch.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including business, product, and engineering, to
  design and implement solutions.
• Work closely with engineering teams to manage project schedules and
  deliverables.
• Anticipate bottlenecks and issues and provide solutions for smooth execution.
• Drive engineering and operational excellence within the team and the broader
  organization.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, evangelizing technical work and raising the
  bar for excellence.
• Hire, mentor, and build a strong cross-functional team while ensuring continuous
  process improvement.
• Analyse business needs and prioritize product features that drive customer
  satisfaction and business impact.
  Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience in technical product or program management.
• 10+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong background in program management and leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience in managing large, complex technology projects and delivering them
  successfully.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change
  across teams.
  Preferred Qualifications:
• 8+ years of hands-on experience managing complex technology projects.
• Proven track record of managing projects across multiple cross-functional teams.
• Experience in building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules.
• Familiarity with machine learning models, data-driven solutions, and
  sustainability-driven innovation.
• Advanced problem-solving skills, with an ability to make trade-offs between
  business needs and technical constraints.
