About the Role:

In this role at IBM India Private Limited, you will join one of our Consulting Client Innovation
Centers in Bangalore where you will deliver deep technical expertise in SAP HANA Finance.
As an SAP Consultant – SAP HANA (Finance), you will work with our clients to understand
their financial systems, diagnose issues, and design innovative solutions that drive digital
transformation. You will be responsible for configuring SAP systems, analysing business
requirements, and ensuring seamless integration of financial modules. Your work will
directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our clients’ financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation & Issue Resolution: –
    Understand existing SAP implementations and replicate user-raised issues
    in non-production systems. –
    Convert key business requirements into technical specifications for
    development changes.
  • System Configuration & Integration: –
    Configure the SAP system with a focus on the CO module as per client
    specifications. –
    Develop impact analysis documents and ensure smooth integration with
    other SAP modules and non-SAP systems.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: –
    Perform regression testing and system integration testing to ensure robust
    and reliable solutions. –
    Analyze and troubleshoot defects, providing timely resolutions to maintain
    system quality.
  • Collaboration & Communication: –
    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including solution architects,
    developers, and business stakeholders, to align technical solutions with
    business objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: –
    Stay updated with the latest advancements in SAP HANA technologies and
    best practices, recommending improvements to enhance system
    performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Required: –
    Minimum 12 years of industry experience with a strong background in SAP
    Finance implementations. – –
    In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA Finance and ECC, with hands-on
    experience configuring and supporting SAP systems.
    Proven expertise in areas such as SAP Controlling (CO), including CO-PA,
    Product Costing, and related financial modules.
  • Preferred: –
    Experience with SAP HANA is highly desirable. – –
    Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives in a dynamic
    environment.
