About the Role:
As an SAP Professional Services Consultant at Infosys, you will be an integral part of our
consulting team, responsible for addressing customer challenges through innovative SAP
solutions. Your role involves working closely with clients to understand their issues,
diagnosing problem areas, and designing solutions that facilitate successful digital
transformations.
You will own parts of proposal development, contribute to solution design, and lead
activities such as configuration, conference room pilots, and proof-of-technology
workshops. Ultimately, your work will help drive client delight and ensure the smooth
deployment of SAP S/4HANA public cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

1.) Client Engagement:

  • Connect with senior business and IT stakeholders to understand customer challenges.
  • Lead engagements from problem definition to solution design, development, and
    deployment.
    2.) Proposal & Solution Design:
  • Develop proposals by owning specific sections and providing inputs for overall solution
    design.
  • Plan and execute configuration activities, conduct conference room pilots, and resolve
    queries related to requirements and solution design.
    3.) Demonstrations & Workshops:
  • Conduct solution/product demonstrations, and proof-of-technology (POC) workshops,
    and prepare effort estimates that align with customer budgets and Infosys’ financial
    guidelines.
    4.) Project Leadership:
  • Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives
    aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added solutions.
    5.) Technical Execution:
  • Implement SAP S/4HANA public cloud professional services using the 3SL
    methodology and manage the engagement lifecycle from client onboarding through to
    billing and revenue recognition.

Technical and Professional Requirements:

  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA public cloud professional
    services, preferably within audit, tax, consulting, or related service organizations.
  • At least 2 hands-on projects with SAP S/4HANA public cloud implementations.
  • Methodologies:
  • Strong understanding of the S/4HANA cloud 3SL methodology and engagement
    lifecycle (client onboarding, project set-up, budgeting, pricing, time entry, expense entry,
    revenue recognition, WIP, billing, and collections).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Experience in migrating data objects (employee, customer, project, WIP, AR) and
    familiarity with cloud development nuances (in-app vs. RAP vs. side by side).
  • Proficiency in utilizing advanced analytics and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Communication:
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers remotely and
    deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations.
  • Additional Skills:
  • Awareness of localization requirements across various countries.
  • Ability to develop value-creating strategies that drive innovation, growth, and
    increased profitability for clients.
