Job Responsibilities:
➢ Lead the design and implementation of innovative products and features for our
mobile Android platform.
➢ Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers to translate
requirements and mock-ups into fully functional features.
➢ Break down complex features into manageable tasks, estimating effort and
identifying dependencies.
➢ Write efficient and readable code, leveraging a solid understanding of design
principles.
➢ Drive the product roadmap and take ownership of key components, ensuring
timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
➢ Participate actively in all team agile ceremonies, contributing to on-time delivery
and adherence to quality standards.
➢ Lead the delivery of major components and platform needs, working closely with
engineers and architects.
➢ Identify and address technical challenges early, finding creative solutions in
partnership with the team.
➢ Review pull requests to ensure adherence to Kotlin and other language idioms.
➢ Mentor junior to mid-level team members, fostering their growth and
development.
➢ Stay updated on emerging technologies, rapidly learning and mastering new tools
to enhance usability and performance.
What We’re Looking For:
➢ Experience in Android development for consumer and enterprise applications.
➢ Proven track record of building and shipping complex, business-critical Android app
products with frequent iteration.
➢ Deep understanding of design patterns and principles, coupled with broad
knowledge of the Android Tech stack.
➢ Proficiency in Android SDK to create scalable, dynamic, and highly performant UI
components.
➢ Working knowledge of remote APIs, concurrency, layouts, transitions, animations,
client-side persistence, and architectural patterns on mobile apps.
➢ Strong aptitude in algorithms and data structures, with exposure to AR-VR
technologies.
➢ B Tech/BE degree with a specialization in computer science or equivalent from Tier
1 or Tier 2 colleges.
➢ 6+ years of solid experience in designing and developing modern Android mobile
applications from scratch.
