About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and imaginative YouTube Scriptwriter to craft deeply
unsettling, immersive horror scripts for our faceless channel, Sinister Fear. Our content
is designed to trigger real-life phobias by plunging viewers into terrifying scenarios,
making them feel as if they are living their worst nightmares. If you excel at creating
chilling narratives and fear-driven psychological deep dives, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

→ Research & Development:
o Research and develop gripping horror stories based on real-life phobia
inducing events.
→ Scriptwriting:
o Write well-structured, suspenseful scripts that immerse the audience in
terrifying scenarios.
→ Engagement:
o Hook viewers within the first 30 seconds using suspenseful, anxiety
inducing intros.
→ Structure & Retention:
o Structure scripts with escalating tension, cliffhangers, and elements that
build psychological dread.
→ Phobia Immersion:
o Ensure every script creates a specific phobia-driven experience that makes
viewers feel trapped in their worst fear.
→ Accuracy:
o Maintain factual accuracy while using storytelling techniques to heighten
fear.

Requirements:

  • Mastery of psychological horror storytelling techniques that evoke anxiety,
    claustrophobia, and dread.
  • Strong research skills—capable of finding documented cases of terrifying
    events.
  • Prior experience writing for horror YouTube channels or similar media is
    essential.
  • Deep understanding of phobias and effective methods to trigger fear
    responses.
  • Familiarity with YouTube content strategy, including pacing, tension
    building, and audience retention tactics.
  • Ability to work remotely and consistently deliver high-quality, immersive
    scripts on schedule.
