About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Manager – Category Marketing to join our team in
Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for setting the marketing strategy and
managing the execution of long-term and immediate marketing plans. This position offers
a great opportunity to drive brand awareness and influence customer engagement
through various marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the marketing strategy for the brand/business unit with a focus on the customer.
- Work with central marketing teams to identify high RoI initiatives, including SEM, SEO,
TV commercials, and more, to build awareness and drive trial. - Collaborate with central teams to develop marketing, digital, and social media
strategies, including creative and paid media recommendations. - Develop Go-To-Market (GTM) plans, content calendars, and social-specific content,
ensuring alignment with business priorities. - Liaise with the media team to develop media strategies, analyse data, and make
recommendations for improvement. Manage the media budget for the business unit. - Oversee monthly reporting, analyse performance, and optimize tactics to improve
results month over month. - Lead the influencer strategy, agency, and influencer partnerships to meet campaign
goals and test the value of programs. - Conduct regular consumer immersion interventions to stay ahead of changing market trends.
- Collaborate with corporate communications teams to drive topical PR articles and
content strategies. - Participate in the creative thinking process to ensure high-quality content production.
Skills Required:
- Brand Marketing expertise, including campaign planning and management.
- Strong experience in Category Marketing, Digital Marketing, and strategic thinking.
- Knowledge of SEM, SEO, TV commercials, and other media strategies.
- Ability to manage media budgets and optimize marketing performance.
Desirable Skills:
- Performance Marketing and Demand Generation.
- Market research skills to identify and capitalize on emerging trends.

Qualifications:
- PGDM/MBA in Marketing or equivalent degree.
- Extensive experience in brand marketing, category marketing, and campaign management.
- Proven track record of driving successful marketing strategies and working with crossfunctional teams.
