Brief Role Description:

As a Senior Manager – Tool Room at Tata Motors, you will oversee tool store management,
procurement, and coordination with the tool regrinding team.

Job Description:

  • Inventory management and tool procurement.
  • Develop new tools for cost reduction and productivity enhancement.
  • Coordinate tool trials and troubleshooting with shop and tool suppliers.
  • Ensure zero discrepancy in stores and availability of consumable tools.
  • Execute material audits and ensure safe operations during material handling.

Essential & Desirable Education/Qualifications/Work experience/technical skills:

  • Education: Degree/diploma in Mechanical/Tool & Die.
  • Experience: Around 7-10 years.
  • Skills: Exposure in cutting tools development, troubleshooting, procurement, and stores.
    Basic knowledge of computers, SAP, and cutting tools.
