About the Job:

As a Motion Designer at Google, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create
compelling and intuitive product experiences. Your animations will simplify interactions,
reinforce Google’s brand, and delight users. You’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary UX team
focused on understanding user needs and crafting innovative solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related
    field.
  • 6 years of experience in product design or UX.
  • Motion design expertise with a focus on physics, patterns, and visual elements.
  • Portfolio showcasing your contributions to multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related
    field.
  • 8 years of experience in product design or UX.
  • Experience leading design projects in complex organizations.
  • Proficiency in animation principles and tools like After Effects.
  • Ability to blend creativity with code for interactive motion design.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement Google product experiences through motion design.
  • Provide guidance on animation patterns and best practices for various devices and
    platforms.
  • Drive projects from concept to implementation, delivering high-quality design proposals.
