About the Job:
As a Motion Designer at Google, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create
compelling and intuitive product experiences. Your animations will simplify interactions,
reinforce Google’s brand, and delight users. You’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary UX team
focused on understanding user needs and crafting innovative solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related
field. - 6 years of experience in product design or UX.
- Motion design expertise with a focus on physics, patterns, and visual elements.
- Portfolio showcasing your contributions to multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related
field. - 8 years of experience in product design or UX.
- Experience leading design projects in complex organizations.
- Proficiency in animation principles and tools like After Effects.
- Ability to blend creativity with code for interactive motion design.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define and implement Google product experiences through motion design.
- Provide guidance on animation patterns and best practices for various devices and
platforms. - Drive projects from concept to implementation, delivering high-quality design proposals.
