About the Job:
As a Senior Optical DSP Systems Engineer, you will play a significant role in reviewing and
finalizing functional designs, making architecture suggestions, and enabling the
integration of standalone functions and identity.
You’ll be involved in filling missing specifications through simulations, lab testing, and
collaboration with PLM and systems teams. Your responsibilities include co-architecting
and coordinating modeling efforts, code reviews, integration, firmware feature roll-out,
verification, performance optimization, and robustness testing.
Leveraging your expertise, you’ll provide field support, conduct failure root-cause analysis,
oversee investigations, and solve complex performance issues while mentoring junior and
experienced DSP designers.
Job Responsibilities:
→ Hold a Graduate or Post-Graduate degree in Physics or Engineering with a focus on
Digital Hardware.
→ Possess programming skills in Matlab and C++, with proven debugging and
problem-solving abilities.
→ Experience in an ESD-protected lab environment and familiarity with standard lab
equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analysers, power
supplies, and spectrum analysers.
Good to Have:
→ Familiarity with SystemC, CatapultC, or Verilog. Willingness to learn CatapultC
and/or similar hardware system design languages.
→ Detailed knowledge of ASIC design trade-offs: performance, power, size.
