Key Responsibilities:
→ Financial Accounting:
o Create and review financial reports in compliance with applicable
accounting standards.
o Prepare the annual budget for revenue and capital expenditure, and
conduct variance analysis between budgeted and actual financials.
o Ensure timely financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly
basis.
o Demonstrate strong reconciliation skills across accounts.
→ Compliance & Taxation:
o Maintain a working knowledge of income tax, including TDS
reconciliation for both payments and receivables.
o Oversee GST compliance, including return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
and annual return preparation.
o Understand and implement other relevant statutory regulations and
industry-specific compliance requirements.
→ Liaising with External Partners:
o Work with external auditors, bankers, vendors, and customers to
support audit processes and financial operations.
o Develop audit plans and facilitate timely completion of audits.
o Manage company banking operations and provide advice on investment
decisions.
→ Process Improvement:
o Support management in formulating policies and SOPs to enhance
decision-making processes.
o Collaborate with management to understand business requirements and
implement strategies for improved financial performance.
o Utilize ERP systems (e.g., Oracle/SAP) and advanced Excel skills to drive
automation and digitalization.
Requirements:
→ Professional Qualifications:
o CA Inter or ICWA Inter with 4-5 years of relevant experience is essential.
→ Technical Skills:
o Strong understanding of accounting standards and taxation laws,
particularly GST and income tax.
o Hands-on experience with the AP/AR modules of ERP systems such as
Oracle or SAP.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with a focus on automation and process
digitalization.
→ Other Attributes:
o Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills.
o Ability to liaise effectively with external partners and manage banking
operations.
o Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
