Small, creative, and growth-oriented, Indiebyte builds community-first games and seeks a Social Media Manager to expand player engagement and brand presence across social platforms.


About the Role:
As Social Media Manager, you’ll own Indiebyte’s social presence — developing strategy, producing platform-native content (reels, clips, short-form video, community posts), and growing an engaged player base.
You’ll be the bridge between the community and the studio, translating player feedback into creative activations that drive retention and discovery.


Key Responsibilities:
📍Develop and execute social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, YouTube Shorts, X, Discord, Threads, TikTok).

📍Create high-impact content: short videos, reels, carousels, story sequences, and community posts.

📍Run and optimize organic growth campaigns, and support paid social when needed.

📍Build and manage the creator & streamer outreach program to amplify launches.

📍Manage community engagement — respond to comments, moderate discussions, and host live/AMA events.

📍Track performance with analytics, iterate on creative based on data (CTR, engagement, retention signals).

📍Work closely with design, video, and game teams to turn dev updates into player-facing narratives.

📍Produce a weekly content calendar and monthly performance reports.


Requirements:
✅2–5 years of hands-on social media/community experience — ideally with consumer or gaming brands.

✅Strong skills producing short-form video & attention-grabbing social copy.

✅Deep knowledge of platform best-practices, trends, and algorithmic signals.

✅Experience with community platforms (Discord/Telegram) and creator outreach.

✅Comfortable using basic editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Rush, Canva) and analytics dashboards.

✅Data-driven mindset — able to translate metrics into content decisions.

✅Passion for gaming and familiarity with gaming culture and creators.

✅Strong written and verbal communication skills.
