About the Role:
🧪 As a Software Engineer I on the Testing and Validation team, you will work on both automation and manual testing of Zebra’s software products, with exposure to AI-enhanced features.You will define test requirements for less complex features, build automation in Python/Android Java/C#, and help ensure quality via analysis, validation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 📋 Establish requirements for less complex design/test projects, analyze processes, and deliver results to relevant stakeholders.
  • 🤖 Develop test plans for new features; perform manual and automated validation, analyze results, and recommend solutions after software validation.
  • 💻 Design and implement test automation using Python, Android Java, or C#, and work with modern technologies including AI and new validation approaches.
  • 🔍 Review feature changes, update tests accordingly, and exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques for automation assignments.

Requirements:

  • 🎓 B.E/B.Tech in CS, Information Systems, ECE, EEE, or equivalent.
  • 🧑‍💻 1–2 years of industry experience, with strong coding skills in Python and/or Android Java/C#.
  • 🧪 Good understanding of software testing concepts, both automation and manual, including test planning and execution.
  • 🤖 Exposure to AI concepts or AI-enabled features is preferred.
  • 💬 Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional test and development teams.
  • 🧩 Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
