About the Role:
As a Software Engineer – iOS (Software Engineer 2: iOS) at Lenskart, you will be responsible
for designing and building robust applications for the iOS platform using Swift. Your role
will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new features, ensuring
optimal scalability and performance. You will write clean, unit-tested code and
continuously strive to implement best coding practices throughout the development
lifecycle. This is a high-impact role where your work will directly contribute to advancing
our mission of revolutionizing the eyewear industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- iOS Development: Design and build innovative applications for the iOS platform using
Swift. - Collaboration: Work with Product Managers, UX Designers, and other engineers to design
and ship new features. - Scalable Solutions: Understand product specifications and develop optimal, scalable
solutions. - Testing: Write unit tests to ensure code robustness, covering edge cases, usability, and
overall reliability. - Best Practices: Follow best coding practices throughout the design, development, and
testing process.
What You’ve Accomplished: - Experience: 4+ years of software engineering and product delivery experience, with at
least 2+ years focused on iOS development using Swift. - Collaboration: Proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams and
owning significant parts of product design and usability. - Technical Excellence: Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and the
software development lifecycle. - Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience tackling
challenging engineering problems. - Recognition: Demonstrated contributions through awards, recognition, or open
source/personal projects that showcase your expertise.
