About the Role:

As a Supervisor – CAD Designer at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, you will play a key
role in designing and optimizing manufacturing plant layouts. You will analyze 2D
layouts to create detailed 3D models that accurately represent civil structures, utility
systems, and equipment placements within our automotive manufacturing facilities.
Your work will help optimize factory floor designs for efficient space utilization and
workflow, and you’ll create virtual walkthroughs that provide immersive visualizations
of the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

→ Plant Layout Analysis:
o Analyze and comprehend automobile manufacturing plant layouts,
including civil engineering aspects, electrical and mechanical utility
systems, and equipment positioning.
→ 3D Modeling:
o Create detailed and accurate 3D models by interpreting 2D layouts of
civil, electrical, and mechanical utilities, and
equipment/processes within the manufacturing shop area.
→ 2D Layout Development:
o Develop multiple 2D layout options aimed at optimizing factory and
shop floor designs for efficient space utilization and streamlined workflow.
→ Virtual Visualization:
o Prepare virtual walkthroughs of factory layouts to provide immersive
and interactive visualizations for stakeholders.
