About the Role:
As a Team Member (Supervisor) for Receivable & Payable Accounting at Maruti Suzuki
India Limited, you will be a key part of our Order to Cash (O2C) process in Sales Accounting.
Reporting to the Departmental Head (DPM – O2C), your role is to oversee both receivables
and payables, ensuring that all accounting transactions are processed accurately and in
compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements. You will
focus on streamlining processes through automation and digitalization, while working
collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain robust financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
→ Revenue Accounting:
o Apply fundamental knowledge of revenue accounting principles, revenue
recognition, and receivable accounting in compliance with applicable
accounting standards.
→ Invoice & Payment Processing:
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, ensure
smooth implementation, and provide ongoing support for receivables and
payables.
o Review and process payment documents in the AR/AP modules of ERP
systems (Oracle/SAP), ensuring completeness and compliance with internal
control standards and statutory requirements (e.g., GST, TDS).
→ Financial Closing:
o Support monthly and quarterly closing activities related to receivables and
payables, including preparation of schedules and coordination of audit
processes.
→ Process Improvement:
o Contribute to the development and implementation of process
improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
→ Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues and
ensure seamless operations across the financial processes.
Required Skills:
→ Professional Qualifications:
o Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)/Cost & Work Accountant (CWA)
with 5 to 8 years of experience.
→ Technical Skills:
o Strong understanding of accounting standards and taxation laws (GST,
income tax).
o Hands-on experience with AR/AP modules of ERP systems, such as Oracle or
SAP.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a focus on automation and digitalization.

o Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
o Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with
