About the Role

As a Video Editor for Rampage (328K subscribers), you’ll collaborate with the Head of Content
to produce high-retention poker vlogs. Edit 25–45 minute long-form videos with cinematic
storytelling, dynamic graphics, and retention-driven pacing to captivate viewers in the
competitive poker niche.

Key Responsibilities

→ Editing & Collaboration:
o Transform raw poker vlog footage into engaging, cohesive narratives.
o Work closely with the Head of Content and Assistant Editors to align on creative
vision.
→ Storytelling & Retention:
o Apply retention-based editing techniques to maximize viewer engagement.
o Integrate motion graphics, sound effects, transitions, and dynamic text.
→ Technical Execution:
o Stay updated on YouTube trends and best practices for poker/gaming content.
o Ensure polished, high-quality outputs that align with Rampage’s brand.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3+ years editing long-form YouTube content (gaming, poker, or
  commentary niches preferred).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in retention-driven pacing, motion graphics, and sound
  design.
• Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with poker culture and YouTube’s gaming/content
  trends.
• Soft Skills: Collaborative mindset, adaptability to feedback, and deadline-oriented
  workflow.
  Bonus:
• Background in gaming or sports commentary editing.
