About the job:

Fastly is seeking a Web Application Security Analyst to contribute real-world security
insights and address Internet-scale threats. As part of the Customer Security Operations
Center (CSOC) team, you’ll monitor and analyze customer activity, respond to security
issues, and ensure outstanding customer experiences

Job Responsibilities:

→ Monitor and analyze customer activity to identify and respond to security threats,
including account takeover, bot attacks, and DDoS attacks.
→ Provide outstanding response to customer security issues and support, ensuring an
excellent customer experience.
→ Analyze web traffic and identify suspicious activity, triaging and responding to
incoming tickets and alerts.
→ Manage security configurations for customers, including new alert creations and
attack mitigations.
→ Contribute to processes and policies that scale the organization as it grows.

What We’re Looking For:

→ Strong interest in infosec and application security, with working knowledge of core
internet technologies.
→ Experience in IT or security operations, technical support, or research-related roles.
→ Scripting ability in popular coding languages, troubleshooting WAF products, and
fluency in English.
→ Desire to contribute to organizational processes and policies, with a focus on
delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Work Hours:

Sunday to Thursday, core hours 9am – 6pm.

Work Location(s) & Travel Requirements:

Open to candidates residing in London, with a hybrid model allowing flexibility between
office and remote work.
