About the Role:
🧑‍💻 As a Web Developer I, you will work on multiple web and back-office applications built on the Microsoft .NET stack, participating in all phases of the SDLC.
You will analyse requirements, design, code, debug, test, and document web applications, ensuring performance, quality, and responsiveness for Mouser’s global customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 🧾 Evaluate user requests, analyse new or modified software requirements, and draft technical specifications with high-level time estimates.
  • 💻 Develop, test, and implement web applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web Forms, JavaScript, .NET Framework, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, JSON, AJAX, SQL Server, Visual Studio, TFS, and related web technologies.
  • 🌐 Work with DXP/CMS platforms on Microsoft .NET (e.g., Kentico, DotNetNuke), and develop applications for a multi-platform environment supporting worldwide customers.
  • 🧪 Conduct unit and integration testing, monitor results, take corrective action, and support QA with feature and integration testing.
  • 📚 Adhere to best practices in software development, including clean, testable, maintainable code, peer code reviews, and creation of reference documentation.
  • 🛠 Analyse and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis using support tools, and handle production environments and escalations.

Requirements:

  • 🎓 Bachelor’s degree and 0–4 years of experience in web development using several of the listed technologies.
  • 🧑‍💻 Strong skills in .NET Framework 4.5+, ASP.NET Web Forms, C#, ASP.NET MVC / .NET Core, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, LINQ, XML, JSON, AJAX, and SQL Server 2012/2016+.
  • 🧰 Experience with Visual Studio 2015/2017+, Team Foundation Server (TFS), Web API/WCF/REST services, and unit test frameworks.
  • 🌍 Understanding of DXP/WCMS concepts, UI development process, database design, SQL/T-SQL, and stored procedures; familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • 💬 Good communication skills and strong team player, able to work closely with business analysts, designers, architects, developers, and QA; Microsoft MCSA: Web Applications certification is an advantage.
