About the Role:
🔍 Build/maintain WordPress CMS powering BrowserStack’s global marketing/product sites with responsive experiences.
Entry-level remote role (Mumbai-based) offering mentorship while shipping production systems for developer audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- 📊 Develop WordPress themes/plugins/templates; convert designs to responsive production pages/components.
- 🔧 Integrate REST APIs; fix bugs; optimize performance/SEO/accessibility; collaborate across design/marketing teams.
- 📈 Participate in code reviews; follow engineering best practices; continuously learn under senior mentorship.
Requirements:
Core Skills:
- 🛠️ 1–3 years web dev; HTML5/CSS3/JS; PHP/WordPress basics; responsive design; Git; MySQL knowledge.
- 🔒 REST APIs; debugging/problem-solving; learning mindset; strong communication/collaboration skills.
Desired:
- 📊 Authentication concepts; mobile-first experience; clean/reusable component development.
