About the Role:
As an MBOM Engineer, you will bridge the gap between product design and manufacturing, translating EBOMs into accurate MBOMs for production and assembly.
You will be central in managing engineering changes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining error-free BOM documentation for high-quality manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
📌 Understand, validate, and update EBOMs and MBOMs in alignment with product design and manufacturing needs
📌 Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure MBOM accuracy
📌 Manage daily EBOM/MBOM updates and associated documentation
📌 Analyze and resolve discrepancies, troubleshoot MBOM error states
📌 Use tools like TCe RAC, AWC, Easy Plan, 3DX, and MS Project for BOM management
📌 Communicate and implement solutions across cross-functional teams
Requirements:
🎯 Proficiency with BOM management, MPP, TCe RAC, AWC, Easy Plan, MS Office, 3DX
🎯 Experience in EBOM-MBOM transformation and daily updates
🎯 Strong verbal and written communication skills
🎯 Analytical, detail-oriented mindset for troubleshooting and documentation
🎯 Bachelor’s/Master’s in engineering (preferred: mechanical, automotive or related fields)
