About the Role:
As a Design Engineer, you will create electrical schematics, layout designs, and cable generation using SEE Electric software following industry standards.
The role encompasses power calculations for main disconnectors, circuit breakers, transformers, and cabinet thermal analysis.
You will select appropriate breakers, sensors, drives, motors, and safety devices compliant with safety PL levels.
Documentation and revisions will be managed using Team Center software with attention to quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
π Create electrical schematics, layout design, and cable generation using SEE Electric software
π Generate part lists and cable lists from design software
π Perform power calculations for main disconnectors, transformers, circuit breakers, and thermal cabinet analysis
π Select safety-related components based on required safety performance levels
π Perform documentation, revision management, and release using Team Center software
π Conduct self-quality checks ensuring consistency and accuracy
π Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a multicultural, global engineering environment
Requirements:
π― Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and understand electrical/pneumatic symbols
π― Knowledge of electrical control panel design and power calculation methodologies
π― Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, servo drives, and motors
π― Strong oral and written English communication skills; proficiency in French is a plus
π― Experience with SEE Electric and Team Center software is advantageous
