About the Role:
🤖 As a Senior QA Engineer – AI, you will design and execute advanced test strategies for AI-powered systems, including RAG pipelines, custom AI agents, and intelligent features used across legal, tax, risk, and compliance products.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate AI quality, reliability, fairness, and performance in production, while driving best practices in MLOps/LLMOps and AI testing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • 🧪 Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for AI systems, including multi-component pipelines, retrieval-augmented generation, and AI agents with multi-step reasoning.
  • 🤖 Develop automated testing frameworks to validate AI model performance, accuracy, reliability, and integration through APIs and scalable data pipelines.
  • 📊 Create AI/ML-specific test cases for model validation, output quality, edge cases, drift, bias detection, and fairness evaluation.
  • 🧠 Evaluate and prototype new AI testing techniques; build proof-of-concept automation frameworks for new AI features and stay current with AI testing methodologies and metrics.
  • 🧑‍💻 Break down functional requirements into detailed test specifications and automation strategies; mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to MLOps/LLMOps practices.
  • ⚙ Implement and maintain automated test suites (Selenium, pytest, JUnit), monitoring systems, and ensure compliance with ethical AI, security, and regulatory standards.
  • 🐞 Conduct systems analysis, recommend improvements, log and track defects, and produce detailed test reports for each testing iteration.
  • 🤝 Collaborate with AI researchers, engineers, designers, and product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment; optimize testing for coverage, speed, and resource usage.

Requirements:

  • 💻 5+ years in software QA and test automation, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML systems testing.
  • 🧑‍💻 Strong coding skills in Python and Java for test automation; hands-on experience with Selenium, pytest, JUnit, and related frameworks.
  • 📈 Solid understanding of machine learning principles, evaluation metrics, AI testing methodologies, and experience testing AI model integrations via APIs and data pipelines.
  • ☁ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes), relational databases (SQL, Oracle), and complex SQL scripting.
  • 🔁 Knowledge of MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, and testing Web Services and RESTful APIs.
  • 💬 Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • 🧠 Experience testing AI-driven systems, agent-based architectures, and AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic), plus vector databases, embeddings, or search-based AI systems.
  • 🔬 Familiarity with PyTorch/TensorFlow, AI model evaluation, bias testing, NoSQL databases, and domain knowledge in legal, tax, or accounting.
  • 📂 Portfolio demonstrating AI/ML testing and quality frameworks for LLMs.
