About the Role:
💻 As a Software Engineer in Global Technology, you will join a graduate technology cohort that builds and maintains critical systems powering retail, commercial, and institutional banking as well as core support functions.You will work across the software development lifecycle—from requirements analysis and design to coding, testing, deployment, and support—using modern stacks and practices across full stack, cloud, AI/ML, SRE, cybersecurity, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and mobile technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 📋 Gather and translate internal and external client requirements into technical designs and business process re-engineering specifications.
  • 💡 Code solutions, write unit tests, and ensure robust, well-tested interfaces that integrate cleanly with Bank of America’s internal applications and systems.
  • 🚀 Participate in CI/CD activities (branching, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes) and contribute to release/delivery events.
  • 📊 Document models, findings, and support data collation/processing needed for development and delivery; perform proof-of-concepts to implement new ideas or mitigate risks.
  • 🌍 Work with global development teams and business partners across APAC, EMEA, and AMRS to translate business/functional requirements for domains such as banking, trading, and markets.
  • ⚠ Identify, escalate, and help resolve incidents and issues while ensuring solutions meet expectations for functionality, quality, performance, reliability, and timelines.

Requirements:

  • 🎓 Final-year Master’s student (Class of 2026 only) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or similar field, with 0 years of work experience.
  • 📝 Minimum 70% in the last semester or CGPA 7/10 in the last semester with no active backlogs at the time of applying.
  • 🧑‍💻 Fundamental knowledge of programming languages, data visualization tools, application frameworks, distributed systems, and databases; basic proficiency in at least one of Java, C#/.NET, C++, or Python.
  • 🔄 Exposure to Agile methodology, process improvement, Excel, JIRA, and basic knowledge of Linux/Unix.
  • 💬 Strong written and oral communication, problem-solving, influencing skills, and the ability to work with ambiguity and changing priorities, with a strong work ethic and team attitude.

Desired Skills:

  • 🤖 Experience or projects involving frameworks and tools for AI/ML applications.
  • ☁ Familiarity with cloud platforms and development in cloud environments.
  • 📈 Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills; ability to implement solutions based on requirements or innovative ideas.
  • 🌐 Willingness and aptitude to work in global distributed teams with high attention to detail and strong work ethics.
