About the Role:
📊 As a Business & Research Analyst in the Data Extraction team, you will work with both qualitative investment documents and quantitative data related to institutional investments.You will support products like Nasdaq eVestment Market Lens and Peer Benchmarking by interpreting complex English investment documents, extracting key data points, summarizing them, and tagging them accurately for use in Nasdaq’s databases and client solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• 📑 Read and interpret complex institutional investment documents in English, extract the most relevant information, create concise, accurate summaries, and comprehensively tag each document so all key data points are captured.
• 🔗 Perform data association projects by mapping externally sourced data to existing records in Nasdaq’s databases and ensure consistency across datasets.
• 🌐 Conduct internet research to locate and retrieve key data and build out key contact datasets for investor firms, consultants, and other market participants.
• 🤝 Collaborate with global team members to uphold high data quality standards, consistently meet strict daily deadlines, and manage workload efficiently under time pressure (shift starting between 12:00 PM and 2:59 PM IST).

Requirements:

• 🧠 Strong interest in investment data and institutional investment markets, with skills in data entry, data research, and qualitative data summarization.
• 🗣 Outstanding English language proficiency (written and verbal), with ability to comprehend and communicate complex financial concepts clearly and professionally.
• 🔎 Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work with both qualitative and quantitative data.
• 💻 Comfort with internet research and digital tools; prior exposure to institutional investments or financial research is a plus.
• 🤝 Team player mindset, curiosity to innovate and grow skills, and ability to deliver reliably against strict daily deadlines.
