About the Role:
💻 The Associate Software Developer Internship is a 10–12 week summer trainee program for future software developers and computer scientists in India.
Interns work on development projects with Googlers and fellow interns, enhancing coding skills and gaining exposure to tools, languages, and large-scale engineering practices through mentoring, tech talks, and networking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 🧩 Work on a development project as part of a team, contributing code and participating in design, implementation, and testing.
  • 🛠 Enhance your coding skills and gain exposure to Google’s internal tools, programming languages, and development workflows.
  • 🎤 Attend ongoing technical talks by senior Googlers, engage in technical discussions in English, and participate in social, community-building, and networking activities.
  • 📌 Specific responsibilities vary by project area and will be defined closer to the internship start.

Requirements:

  • 🎓 Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Computer Science or related technical field, and returning to the program after the internship.
  • 💻 Experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages; excellent programming skills in C++, Java, or Python are preferred.
  • 🗣 Ability to communicate fluently in English to participate in technical discussions.
  • 🕒 Ability to complete a full-time, 10–12 week internship between May and August 2026 (exact dates shared later in the process).
