Role Overview:

  • As a Software Engineer in Azure OneFleet, you will build and maintain services that ingest, store, and expose real-time data about global customers and data centers.
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand user requirements, design features, and deliver reliable, reusable code within a large-scale cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of features and identify dependencies for a product area.
  • Contribute to design documents and break larger work items into smaller, estimable tasks.
  • Implement and maintain code for services or features, reusing existing components where possible.
  • Participate in effort estimation and help ensure delivery quality in an agile environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven coding experience in one or more of: C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Strong understanding of core Computer Science concepts such as data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and problem solving (implied by role level and typical Microsoft SE expectations).
