About the Role:
🧠 Implement state-of-the-art deep learning techniques for computer vision in retail applications including object detection, tracking, OCR, image classification, and video analysis.Rapidly experiment, analyze, train/test models at scale, extend public code, and develop ML back-ends in collaborative startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- 📚 Read research papers and implement cutting-edge deep learning techniques for custom retail problems.
- 🔧 Extend public code modules, develop ML back-ends, and deploy models rapidly using Python systems.
- 🧪 Train/test deep learning models at scale; work on object detection, tracking, OCR in natural scenes, video analysis.
Requirements:
Skills Required:
- 🧠 Good knowledge of deep/machine learning for computer vision (OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow experience).
- 🐍 Python experience with system building; strong analytical skills and smart programming mindset.
Preferred:
- 🎓 Bachelor’s/Master’s degree; 0–2 years engineering + deep learning industry experience.
