💡About the Internship:
Rubrik is hiring an Application Security Intern for its Bangalore office. This 12-week internship offers an opportunity to work alongside experienced Application Security Engineers, contribute to secure software development initiatives, automate security processes, and build solutions that directly improve Rubrik’s Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).From day one, interns work on real business challenges while receiving mentorship from industry experts and exposure to modern cloud-native security practices.
📌Key Responsibilities:
📌 Assist engineering teams in identifying and resolving application security vulnerabilities 🔐
📌 Build automation tools to improve Secure SDLC workflows ⚙️
📌 Develop security tooling using Python, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar technologies 💻
📌 Support vulnerability triaging, tracking, and remediation 🛡️
📌 Build dashboards for Application Security metrics 📊
📌 Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams across time zones 🤝
📌 Document security standards and best practices 📝
📌 Contribute to improving overall engineering security posture 🚀
🎯Requirements:
🎯 Pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field 🎓
🎯 Graduating in 2027 📅
🎯 Available for a full-time 12-week internship ⏳
🎯 Programming experience in Python, Go, C/C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, Scala, or similar 💻
