💡About the Role:
PowerSchool is looking for a motivated Associate Software Engineer 1 to join its R&D team in Chennai.

You’ll work as a Full Stack Developer, developing and maintaining web applications using PHP and Angular while also working with REST APIs, backend services and MySQL databases.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll troubleshoot issues, improve application performance, participate in code reviews and collaborate with frontend, backend, QA and DevOps teams.

📌Key Responsibilities:
📌 Develop and maintain web applications using Core PHP and Angular.

📌 Design and develop REST APIs and backend services.

📌 Work with MySQL databases, including query writing, optimization and maintenance.

📌 Integrate third-party APIs and external services.

📌 Debug, troubleshoot and resolve application issues.

📌 Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards.

📌 Collaborate with frontend, backend, QA and DevOps teams.

📌 Optimize applications for performance, reliability and scalability.

📌 Maintain proper technical documentation for development tasks and modules.

📌 Work on bug fixes, application enhancements and new feature development.
