💡About the Role:
Harris Computer is looking for a Database Administrator to manage and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL Server environments while ensuring high availability, performance, and system reliability. This role is ideal for professionals with strong SQL Server administration skills who want to work remotely with enterprise-grade applications and modern IT infrastructure.
📌Key Responsibilities:
📌 Troubleshoot SQL Server issues including Always On, Failover Clustering, Replication, and SQL Agent Jobs
📌 Monitor and optimize SQL Server performance and database availability
📌 Analyze T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, and application-level database issues
📌 Manage Windows Server administration, IIS Web Services, and system logs
📌 Coordinate with application teams to resolve production issues
📌 Support enterprise software environments and maintain system reliability
📌 Follow database administration best practices and documentation standards
📌 Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to improve infrastructure performance
🎯Requirements:
🎯 3–4 years of SQL Server Database Administration experience
🎯 Strong troubleshooting experience with SQL Server Always On, Failover Cluster Manager, Replication, and SQL Agent Jobs
🎯 Basic knowledge of T-SQL scripting and stored procedure analysis
🎯 Good understanding of Windows Server, IIS, Windows Storage, and Printing Services
🎯 Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
🎯 Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
